The 7 Sorrows of Mary

Who are we?

We are a family from Cincinnati. Carl wrote a book about the Seven Sorrows of Mary, not realizing that God had plans to use it to help so many people.
This is a picture of all of us at the first conference we hosted. Along with Amy and me, you can see our six kids and my Mom, Julie. (She has joined us at nearly every church we’ve visited!)

It Started with a book

"Something You Can Count On is the right book at the right time"
-says one review on Amazon.
Few books focus on Our Lady of Kibeho. After learning more about the Seven Sorrows of Mary, I was surprised by the lack of resources, so I decided to write one myself. Soon, people started reading it—and they liked it!

About the 7 Sorrows Rosary...

I hadn’t heard of this Rosary until I read about the Seven Promises Mary gave to St. Bridget of Sweden. Inspired, I decided to try it, and as I began experiencing the promises in my own life, I felt compelled to share this devotion with others. That’s what led me to write the book.

Pray the Seven Sorrows Rosary!

Then we hosted parish events...

People have told us that these events changed their lives. We shouldn’t be surprised—after all, the Seven Sorrows devotion changed our lives!

Read the testimonials we've received!

Then we talked to a Hospital Chaplain...

Who shared how little time he had to visit so many people every day, and that he wished he had a small version of our book to share with patients when he makes his rounds.

...and we created resources for other chaplains to use!

We developed booklets with inviting covers—compact enough to feel approachable yet comprehensive enough to bring comfort to people from all walks of life.

Nearly every priest who has seen these booklets wants a boxful to share with those who are suffering!

...and now YOU can be a part of this mission!

When Our Lady of Guadalupe asked St. Juan Diego to deliver a message to the Bishop, he humbly tried to suggest that Mary send someone else, feeling unworthy as a simple peasant.

But Mary responded, "I have many messengers I could send, but it is you who must carry this message to the Bishop."

This raises a question: who are Mary's "other messengers," if not YOU and ME?

Now, you can be a messenger of Our Lady, helping to bring her message of comfort to those who are suffering.

You can become a "Consoler of Our Lady'!
